Blog Visionary

This is a story behind the inception of this blog!

Once upon a time in SOS HGS, Bharatpur, an alumni association was formed. The president was the visionary of the alumni association. There were three Vice Presidents. One of them was a financial donor. Another was an event coordinator. However, the third one was just a passive supporter.

The third guy didn't know much about such programs and he just assisted others, and motivated them. He was inexperienced and not as confident. However, he soon felt identity crisis. He started to think what was his identity in the board. He questioned to himself, how he could contribute something on his own right to the association.

He had some irrelevant skills like painting and blogging. Sorry, if I said irrelevant because blogging was totally relevant. It was only that it took him two years to realize that! Probably he would have done it earlier if someone had suggested him. However, until now there was no such enthusiasm in other members that they would passionately work for it.

Early times are always difficult and we were struggling to establish our identity. Our support team was small and inactive. However, this year we organized football tournament and made it a grand success. We also initiated a library project and worked on it. We played Deusi Bhailo and successfully collected a sizable amount of fund. These achievements, and support increased our enthusiasm and motivation.

All these events created a buzz which ticked in the mind of the guy above that there was an amazing way he could do something for the organization in his own initiation. That amazing way was to blog.

That's right! The guy is me, Prem Gaire, who envisioned this blog and executed it as well.

I hope to engage others in this as well, so that this blog can be given continuity in the long run. So, techy guys and girls be ready to take over this blog for our alumni association.

This blog will be a platform to publish public notices, achievements and the logs of our activities. It will be a medium to connect all the alumni from across the world in this era of ICT.
