SOS HGS Alumni Football Cup 2071

In order to foster interaction between the alumni and the students of SOS HGS, Bharatpur, we have been organizing Football Tournament from our inception. This year, a total of six teams registered for the competition, out of which 3 teams were from the alumni students and 3 teams were from the current students. Class 10, the youngest one among the teams grabbed the victory over all other teams.

The event was organized in 8th and 9th of Aswin, 2071. The match was knockout and from 3 matches we had 3 winners. Among the three winners one team directly went to final from a lucky draw. Remaining two teams played a semifinal match. The semi final and the final match was scheduled for 4th of Kartik (21st of October).

Prize was distributed on 5th of Kartik (22nd October), the next day of final match. Medals and certificates were given to the winning team and the runner-up team. The winners (Class 10 team) lifted the running shield trophy of SOS HGS Alumni Football Cup as well as received a cash prize of three thousand rupees (NRs. 3000).

Tough Competition!
Alumni board will be reformed the next year, but I hope the board will give continuity to this kind of program and pass on the tradition. Hope you enjoyed the post.
